Very cool to see as first project! There is a lot to learn there but dont get demotivated. You have to work better on those colisions and controls are messy. I found very strange when your bullets colides with enemy bullets, it could be a nice mechanic but I’m pretty sure its not intended.
You can see on my demo, its have a lot of bugs and bad implementations, keep it up!
